TL;DR

Sales Manager, Mid-Market Banking (Banking Sales): Own full-lifecycle B2B sales execution for mid-market banking and credit union prospects, with an accent on orchestrating channel-influenced deals and coaching Account Executives in a technically complex, highly regulated environment. Focus on pipeline generation, deal strategy, Salesforce hygiene, forecast accuracy, and building rep fluency in fraud and identity risk solutions.

Location: New York City; NYC highly preferred, Eastern US or willing to work EST hours

Salary: $150,000–$210,000 base (50/50 base + commission)

What you will do

  • Own rep performance through structured weekly 1:1s covering territory planning, prioritization, deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, partner collaboration, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Drive forecast accuracy by leading weekly pipeline reviews, enforcing SFDC discipline, and submitting timely, defensible forecasts.
  • Coach AEs on key opportunities using real-time objection handling, multithreading strategy, and close planning.
  • Partner on executive-level client engagements and strategic opportunities.
  • Manage AE ramp and development by owning onboarding programs, defining productivity milestones, and reducing time-to-contribution.
  • Coordinate channel-influenced deal execution with strategic partners and ensure clean pipeline attribution; escalate partner/client/deal risk early.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 2 years managing AEs in complex sales cycles (or equivalent player-coach experience).
  • Digital banking, fintech, or fraud/credit/identity domain expertise to coach reps on industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience navigating multi-threaded, partner-influenced deals, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and complex contracting processes.
  • Consistent quota attainment in roles with $1M+ annual quotas and 6–12 month sales cycles.
  • Experience running team-level pipeline reviews, enforcing pipeline hygiene, and driving forecast accuracy (Salesforce required; Gong a plus).
  • Must be based in Eastern US (or willing to work EST hours) and NYC is highly preferred.
