What you will do

• Own the end-to-end electrical design process: requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost estimation, scheduling, and project closure.
• Design electrical circuits for power distribution, temperature control, and motion control/PID, including FPGA modeling.
• Perform conceptual and detailed design using OrCAD, AutoCAD, PSpice, and FPGA/EPLD development tools; support firmware development.
• Test and analyze designs using MATLAB/Python, create detailed drawings, run design reviews, procure prototype parts, and support system integration and prototype testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure subsystem/system-level integration and test readiness.
• Develop supporting documentation (assembly/test procedures, service manuals) and partner with suppliers to ensure requirements are specified and met.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering background.
• Hands-on electrical circuit design experience using OrCAD, AutoCAD, PSpice, and FPGA/EPLD development systems.
• PLC programming design experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, OMRON, etc.).
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools.
• Project management experience.
