What you will do

• Design and develop programs and libraries for new and existing hardware products.
• Implement software that interacts directly with FPGAs, ASICs, and other hardware components.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and QA groups to define and test new features.
• Work with Field Applications teams to resolve customer problems and improve success.
• Devise effective test strategies with the QA group to resolve software release issues.
• Incorporate customer requirements into the existing software architecture.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree and 7+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of C++ and strong Object Oriented design skills.
• Proven experience implementing software for embedded systems, microcontrollers, or small-form-factor devices.
• Experience developing Windows device drivers (KMDF) and deep knowledge of Windows OS internals.
• Ability to read schematics and design documentation to interact with hardware designers.
• Proficiency with Git and Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.

Nice to have

• ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) experience.
• Experience with instrument design and control.
