Client Engagement Lead (IoT): Owning the outcomes of 1–3 active client engagements by bridging the gap between technical deli, client strategy, and commercial growth. Focus on managing profitability, negotiating Statements of Work, and ensuring high-quality deli for complex connected hardware and AI-driven products.
Location: Must be based in the US with the ability to travel domestically for client engagements.
Salary: $145,000 – $175,000 USD annual base compensation + up to 15% performance bonus.

What you will do
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for 1–3 concurrent client engagements.
- Own engagement profitability, monitor burn rates, and proactively manage risks.
- Write and negotiate Statements of Work for new phases and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with project managers on large engagements to steer strategy and scope.
- Lead standups, sprint planning, and milestone reviews for smaller engagements.
- Coach team members on client communication and expectation management.
Requirements
- Must reside within the United States.
- 5+ years of experience in client services, technical program management, or deli-facing roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently write and negotiate Statements of Work.
- Strong financial acumen regarding project budgets and margin management.
- Technical fluency sufficient to translate client needs into actionable scope for engineering teams.
- Ability to travel within the US as needed for client engagements.
Nice to have
- Background in electronics hardware, firmware, or embedded systems development.
- Experience working directly with contract manufacturers.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering capacity.
- 3+ years in a consultancy or client services environment.
