What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and improve CMP equipment performance to meet manufacturing output and reliability targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate timely recovery actions to minimize production impact.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans to improve tool availability.
• Partner with Process Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for yield and productivity improvements.
• Create and maintain equipment documentation, SOPs, and maintenance instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
• 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in an Equipment Engineering role.
• Proven experience supporting CMP equipment in a wafer fabrication environment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom operations.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMP platforms such as Applied Materials Mirra, Screen DNS AS2000, or NovaScan.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like JMP, Spotfire, Python, or SQL.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques like 8D or DMAIC.
