What you will do

• Perform mechanical design for large structures, including buckets, frames, and linkages.
• Develop detailed L4 mechanical designs, models, and drawings using CREO.
• Optimize structural weldments and thick-wall components for strength, weight, and durability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enable robotic welding, CNC machining, and automation.
• Lead tolerance and GD&T definition for finished weldments and machined parts.
• Participate in pilot builds and pre-production validation to resolve mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship not available)
• Proven experience in mechanical design for large structural components.
• Proficiency in CREO for modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, including weldments, castings, and load paths.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes like robotic welding and CNC machining.
• Ability to execute design work within structured project frameworks.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of FEA for static and dynamic structural validation.
• Experience with fatigue, impact loading, and wear mechanisms in heavy equipment.
• Understanding of aftermarket serviceability and lifecycle performance.
