GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer (GCP): Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with an accent on infrastructure automation, cloud security, networking, and CI/CD pipeline development. Location: In-Person (5 days/week) in Washington, DC. U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level security clearance.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable GCP infrastructure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipeline automation and deployment workflows.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure cloud services meet SLAs.
• Implement cloud best practices and ensure compliance with federal security standards (FedRAMP, NIST).
• Document solutions and share knowledge with engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
• 4+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Strong Linux, networking, and containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes), plus experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to have

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts and ATO processes.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
