TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Universal City, California (Hybrid: 4 days per week in-office required).
Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 yearly.

What you will do
- Negotiate and draft acquisition, development, and production agreements.
- Provide legal advice on potential risks by interpreting complex contracts.
- Manage legal matters during production, including rights, chain of title, and guild issues.
- Collaborate with Creative, Business, Production, Finance, and Marketing departments.
- Support special projects and handle clearance, advertising, and publicity legal issues.
Requirements
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- 4+ years of production or transactional entertainment legal experience.
- Active member of the California State Bar or registered as in-house counsel.
- Familiarity with US and foreign copyright law and intellectual property issues.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
