Salary: $133,900–$198,160 per Year

What you will do

• Draft, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements for all aspects of entertainment content creation, production, marketing, and distribution.
• Support senior attorneys across practice groups including music, entertainment, sports, technology, and advertising.
• Structure and analyze deals within a matrix of rights held by third parties, including distributors, hardware manufacturers, and sports leagues.
• Advise internal clients regarding general business, copyright, technology, corporate, and regulatory matters.
• Provide day-to-day legal and business affairs counsel to highly creative business units.
• Assess risks associated with highly complex legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in-house or within a law firm.
• Expertise in contracting issues with excellent drafting skills.
• Experience with complex corporate or intellectual property transactions, including content creation and distribution.
• Experience with entertainment or technology matters.
• Qualified and in good standing with the State Bar of New York.
