Location: Belen, NM and Easton, WA; travel across designated U.S. seniority regions and states is required

Salary: $9,415.56 per month; average annual earnings of $104,714.28–$136,000+

What you will do

• Maintain and repair BNSF roadway maintenance equipment.
• Disassemble, modify, manufacture, overhaul, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, driveline, and final-drive systems.
• Operate heavy equipment and use manual, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs using welders and cutting torches.
• Work safely around heavy machinery, noise, fumes, uneven surfaces, and extreme weather.
• Travel extensively to assigned job sites and attend company-paid training at the BNSF Training Center.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the United States without BNSF sponsorship or other assistance with employment authorization.
• At least 21 years old and able to meet the physical, safety, travel, and shift requirements.
• At least two years of verifiable mechanical work experience or training.
• At least one year of experience with gasoline and diesel engines on large industrial equipment.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic diagrams and schematics, plus at least three months of welding experience.
• Valid Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement, or ability to obtain one within the first 60 days; English communication skills required.
