Journeyperson Millwright (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA — plant; onsite

Salary: $38.22–$40.22 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential for second and third shifts.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment and assemblies.
• Analyze mechanical failures and organize maintenance and repair work.
• Work with motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Weld broken parts, cut with a torch, and fabricate components.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, schematics, and parts manuals.
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly while completing assigned work.

Requirements

• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use grinders, drills, hand tools, and presses.
• Ability to identify bearings, use metric measurements, and read a tape measure.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
