What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including requirement analysis and schedule creation.
- Assemble and manage cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, writers, and reviewers.
- Oversee content creation and revision to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with evaluation criteria.
- Maintain proposal schedules and facilitate regular status meetings to ensure all milestones are met.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of submissions.
- Collaborate with business development and capture management to develop winning strategies and discriminators.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in proposal management within the federal government contracting sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations such as FAR and DFARS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools like SharePoint and GovWin.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification.
