What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices for real-time video streaming and recording.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn codebase, systems, and engineering best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools like Claude Code for coding, testing, and debugging.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in design discussions and code reviews.
• Document systems and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and service maintainability.
• Join the on-call rotation as a first responder after an initial ramp-up period.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Exposure to at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, C#, Go, Java).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and distributed systems concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with video, streaming, or real-time data systems.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures, message queues, or event-driven systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Coursework or projects involving machine learning or analytics pipelines.
