What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Document architectural designs, run experiments, and validate approaches with prototypes.
• Lead cross-team projects and mentor engineers to produce maintainable, extensible code.
• Ensure high availability and performance through rigorous code reviews and system design.
• Maintain live services on a rotational, on-call basis and mitigate complex performance issues.
• Collaborate with product owners to define and deliver projects aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent degree-based experience).
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Excellent written communication skills for an asynchronous, global environment.
• Ability to think critically about system design and software engineering concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of production system monitoring and observability.
