Equipment & Quoting Specialist

Salary: $70,250.00–$103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Prepare detailed quotations for chemical processing equipment (pumps, tanks, mixers, filtration systems, instrumentation, and custom-engineered solutions).
• Interpret customer specifications, P&IDs, datasheets, and RFQs to select appropriate equipment.
• Calculate pricing, lead times, and cost structures using internal tools, vendor quotes, and historical data.
• Ensure quotes comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
• Provide technical guidance on equipment capabilities, materials of construction, chemical compatibility, and application suitability.
• Maintain quote records and update CRM/ERP systems with pricing, configurations, and customer information.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with chemical processing equipment, industrial equipment sales, or technical quoting.
• Strong understanding of chemical compatibility, materials of construction, and process equipment fundamentals.
• Knowledge of corrosion-resistant materials, polymers, and specialty alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
