Commodity Manager - CapEx

Location: Highland Heights, Kentucky, United States; on-site or remote; travel up to 50%.

What you will do

• Lead North America CAPEX sourcing strategies for plant expansions, manufacturing improvements, modernization efforts, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage capital projects from planning through commissioning, sourcing equipment, services, and contractors while maintaining schedules and budgets.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and project teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective, and timely procurement solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, secure favorable commercial terms, and mitigate cost, schedule, compliance, and supplier risks.
• Build strategic supplier relationships, drive supplier performance, resolve issues, and develop preferred supplier partnerships.
• Deliver cost savings, supplier optimization, process standardization, market intelligence, and procurement governance across the CAPEX portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, project management, engineering procurement, or CAPEX procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including SAP.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
