Manager, Global Procurement (Technology)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid, with a minimum of three office days per week

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives across software/SaaS, cloud, data and analytics, cybersecurity, hardware, telecommunications, and technology professional services.
• Advise business and technology leaders on technology investments, suppliers, operating models, and commercial decisions.
• Run RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, due diligence, and risk, security, privacy, legal, financial, and compliance assessments.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, service levels, renewals, price protections, audit rights, liability, termination, and other risk provisions.
• Develop total-cost-of-ownership analyses, business cases, savings models, and executive recommendations.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage technology agreements while improving procurement processes, tools, policies, documentation, and supplier governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, including responsibility for technology categories.
• Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations for software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, hardware, telecommunications, and/or technology professional services.
• Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills, including evaluating total cost of ownership, developing business cases, assessing supplier proposals, and explaining tradeoffs.
• Experience participating in supplier negotiations and commercial evaluations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
