Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer – Intake (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$185,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain front-end and back-end components connecting ServiceNow applications with legacy systems.
• Architect, maintain, and expand custom ServiceNow applications supporting cloud adoption and data modernization.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production application issues across the ServiceNow platform.
• Support requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and user-story breakdown with Product Owners and Scrum Teams.
• Act as an intake subject matter expert, answer workgroup questions, and develop a best-practices knowledge base.
• Coordinate cloud architects, engineers, and system owners across parallel projects, technical deliverables, reporting, and program-level support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a technical discipline plus 12 years of experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 5 years of experience with ServiceNow and the Now Platform, including ITSM, App Engine, and/or Integration Hub.
• Experience managing projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Expertise with Azure or another major cloud platform and strong knowledge of data lake architectures, especially Delta Lake or similar structured storage.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and business teams, documenting procedures, and creating executive summary presentations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certifications, including Certified System Administrator and Application Developer.
• AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
• Experience with Databricks administration, cloud provisioning automation, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with SQL, Synapse, Git, Ansible, Docker, .NET, Node, Angular, APIs, and full-stack engineering.
• Conflict management, servant leadership, complex issue analysis, and project oversight experience.
