SAP Infrastructure Specialist

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, install, configure, operate, and performance-tune complex SAP landscapes across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Administer production SAP HANA databases and operate S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other NetWeaver systems.
• Execute SAP upgrades, EHP/SP application, system conversions, system copies, and migrations to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design and maintain SAP high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies, including HANA System Replication and clustering.
• Manage SAP transports and Solution Manager ChaRM while partnering with infrastructure, security, and SAP functional teams.
• Troubleshoot, document, and maintain the availability, performance, security, and compliance of mission-critical SAP platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP Basis or platform engineering experience in large enterprise environments; the position listing specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on production experience administering SAP HANA databases and operating enterprise SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP migrations to AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as upgrades, EHP/SP application, and system conversions.
• Experience with SAP HA/DR, HANA System Replication, clustering, transport management, and Solution Manager ChaRM.
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• SAP certification in HANA, S/4HANA, or Basis administration.
• Experience with SAP RISE/GROW and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, hyperscaler-native integrations, Ansible, Terraform, and regulated workloads such as SOX, GxP, or PCI.
