Associate Veterinarian

Location: Onsite positions in Atlanta, Georgia; Jacksonville, Florida; Parrish, Florida; and Winter Garden, Florida

What you will do

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
• Perform basic surgery and explain examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to clients.
• Educate clients on preventive healthcare, vaccinations, and appropriate nutritional products.
• Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and support patient follow-up and ongoing care.
• Support Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and the broader paraprofessional team.
• Follow operating, safety, compliance, and continuing education requirements; some travel may be required.

Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active state license in good standing, DEA license, and other required state credentials.
• 0–2 years of experience in general medicine and surgery.
• Strong listening, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with veterinary professionals and provide empathetic client service.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of a shift and lift 50–70 pounds, with team assistance for heavier loads.

Nice to have

• Two years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines.
