Veterinary Technician

Location: Boston, United States

Compensation: $28–$41 per hour, plus bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Triage patients, recognize medical emergencies and illnesses, and assess patient condition.
• Record vitals, assist doctors with diagnostics, and complete prescribed treatments.
• Provide basic husbandry, nursing care, patient monitoring, and compassionate support.
• Draw blood, place catheters, facilitate radiography, and prepare samples for reference laboratories.
• Run in-house laboratory tests and prepare and administer medications.
• Help maintain a welcoming and hospitable practice environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a general practice setting.
• Availability to work one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday.
• Comfort with computers and online tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills with clients and a collaborative, proactive approach.
• Passion for animal care and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
