Senior Technical Program Manager (Robotics)

Location: Charlestown, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $155,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software engineering programs across the autonomous robotics platform.
• Coordinate initiatives involving software, robotics, firmware, product, hardware, manufacturing, and deployment teams.
• Set priorities with engineering leadership, define project plans, track milestones, and improve delivery predictability.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and technical trade-offs, drive resolution, and communicate program status.
• Facilitate roadmap reviews, sprint planning, release planning, and program reviews.
• Build scalable program management processes, tracking mechanisms, and communication frameworks as the engineering organization grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management or technical project management supporting software engineering organizations.
• Strong technical background, ideally including prior software engineering or another highly technical engineering role.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects from conception to deployment and coordinating software releases across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience working with backend, infrastructure, robotics, embedded, or distributed systems engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, modern software delivery practices, technical architecture, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Must be willing and able to work from the Charlestown office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira, Linear, Asana, or similar engineering planning tools.
