Product Manager, Clinical Trials

TL;DR

Product Manager, Clinical Trials (SaaS): Overseeing and driving the development and success of Clinical Trials products and digital tools with an accent on fit-for-purpose delivery, regulatory compliance, and platform capabilities for digital cognitive testing and data quality monitoring. What you will do

• Drive identification, definition, and benchmarking of existing clinical trials products and services.
• Own the product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration, including product replacement and phase-out when appropriate.
• Define and maintain the product roadmap/backlog and feature-level KPIs aligned to end-user and customer needs.
• Conduct market and end-user research (interviews, focus groups) to identify unmet needs and prioritize actions.
• Translate customer needs into feasible, viable, and desirable product features; coordinate requirements with product ownership and engineering.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Development, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance across Agile ceremonies to support scoping, planning, estimation, QA/QC, and delivery.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work remotely from the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or scientific discipline; MBA/MS preferred.
• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in clinical trials or healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated experience with customer-facing product research, conceptualization, development, launch, and issue resolution.
• Experience launching SaaS features/products on web and mobile platforms in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of SaaS architectures and deployment models, APIs, integrations, data flows, and cloud systems handling sensitive data.

Nice to have

• Relevant product management certifications (e.g., AIPMM Certified Product Manager / Product School).
• Associated certifications such as PMP, Agile, or SAFe.
• Experience working in an Agile/Nexus development environment.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data-driven product development initiatives.
• Good understanding of clinical trial workflows (site operations, patient experience, clinical data capture/endpoints) and standards such as 21 CFR, GxP, and GDPR.
