Material Handler, Receiving (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite overnight shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am

What you will do

• Transport raw materials and production supplies between warehouses, production areas, storage areas, staging areas, and trailers.
• Pick up and deliver materials or empty containers using a forklift, pallet truck, or other powered industrial truck.
• Unload trailers and box trucks, receive inter-plant shipping orders, and prepare shipments.
• Use GME enterprise resource planning software to access and update inventory locations.
• Perform forklift pre-operation checks, change batteries when required, and secure trailers during loading.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following 6S principles, SOPs, cGMP, and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and minimum age of 18.
• Previous forklift experience and ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.
• Visa sponsorship and takeover of employment visa sponsorship are not available.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills, including the ability to understand safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills; ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently and pass the PIT physical.

Nice to have
