TL;DR

Director, Strategic Partnerships (AI/Biopharma): Building and scaling high-value partnerships with health authorities, biopharma companies, and consulting firms to accelerate commercial growth with an accent on market credibility and platform adoption. Focus on identifying and closing complex partnership agreements, managing executive-level relationships, and driving cross-functional go-to-market execution.

Location: Must be based in the United States, with a preference for Boston, Washington DC, or San Francisco.

Salary: $185,000 - $220,000

What you will do

  • Identify, structure, and close high-impact partnerships with biopharma companies, CROs, and top-tier consulting firms.
  • Manage partner relationships to ensure delivery of promised value and establish metrics for success.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to pharma executives to build credibility and open doors for senior decision-makers.
  • Represent the company in high-level discussions with government agencies and technology partners.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Product teams to translate partnerships into effective go-to-market execution.
  • Represent the company at conferences, panels, and thought-leadership venues.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
  • Prior experience as a management or strategy consultant within the biopharma industry.
  • Proven track record of business development from origination through close in life sciences, digital health, or enterprise software.
  • Established credibility and relationships with pharma executives at the VP-level and above.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience structuring complex partnership agreements.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, or business (MS, PhD, PharmD, MBA) preferred.
