What you will do
- Own end-to-end onsite planning and execution in NYC and secondary cities, including being physically present in the New York City office on onsite days.
- Manage event logistics: travel coordination, venue sourcing, vendor management, budgeting, and on-the-ground execution.
- Partner with stakeholders and internal teams to align programming with Mercury’s culture, goals, and employee experience strategy.
- Identify and resolve problems, risks, and inefficiencies across the onsite program; act with urgency when issues arise.
- Collect feedback after each onsite and iterate to continuously improve the program.
- Support broader employee experience initiatives (All Hands, virtual events, merch production, and cultural recognition/celebration moments) and maintain scalable planning tools and templates.
Requirements
- Based in the NYC area and able to work hybrid, with the ability to be onsite at the New York City office whenever onsite events take place there.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience producing corporate or internal events with a strong track record owning end-to-end planning and execution.
- Experience running complex, multi-city or multi-event programs independently.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with comfort managing multiple timelines simultaneously.
- Strength in vendor negotiation, budgeting, and creative problem-solving.
- Ability to travel ~30–40% for site visits and event execution in secondary cities.
