What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 8 software engineers.
• Partner with Product Management to define roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
• Guide system design and technical decision-making for scalable cloud-based applications.
• Drive the adoption of engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Analyze team performance and technical debt to inform strategic investment decisions.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve development efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel as needed.
• 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3-5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals including testing automation, code reviews, and DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, REST APIs, containerization, and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft technology stacks.
• Exposure to AI-enabled development tools, code generation models, or ML-driven insights.
• Experience with GraphQL or event-driven architecture.
