Staff Software Engineer (MacOS Cloud)

What you will do

• Set technical direction for the macOS platform within hirify.global Actions.
• Design, develop, and ship high-quality, maintainable technical solutions for cloud infrastructure.
• Lead cross-team efforts to deliver durable platform capabilities and improve system scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to support team growth.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system health and incident response readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with product goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems and cloud-native concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience developing on macOS or iOS platforms.
• Experience with telemetry and observability tools like Datadog or Sentry.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and CNCF concepts.
