What you will do

• Define and accelerate backend architecture for signal-collection and personalization pipelines.
• Partner with engineering management to cultivate a growth-oriented, experimentation-driven engineering mindset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Relevance, Feeds, and Notifications to scale impact.
• Establish instrumentation and experimentation foundations for rigorous A/B testing.
• Guide cross-functional alignment on technical feasibility and product roadmaps.
• Advocate for reliability, scalability, and maintainability in high-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven track record in ranking, recommendations, and personalization systems.
• Experience designing backend architectures, retrieval systems, and inference pipelines.
• Strong ability to distill complex technical trade-offs for diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of experimentation, funnels, and retention metrics.
