Salary: $205,000 - $270,000 USD

What you will do

• Serve as the internal functional lead for Workday Business Assets, owning configuration of asset books, depreciation profiles, and capitalization rules.
• Manage end-to-end lease administration and accounting, including ASC 842 disclosure reporting and amortization schedules.
• Partner with Compute and Data Infrastructure teams to manage high-value technology assets from procurement through retirement.
• Support core Workday Financials (R2R) and ensure FDM alignment for asset and lease transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Real Estate, Legal, Tax, and FP&A to align master data and controls.
• Drive ongoing platform expansion, process improvement, and automation for the asset and lease lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, or business systems analysis.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, specifically Business Assets.
• Deep expertise in lease accounting under ASC 842 and experience with lease management platforms.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, and SOX compliance.
• Experience managing high-value technology infrastructure assets at scale.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions for finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or strong background in GAAP/IFRS reporting.
• Experience with Workday FDM design, Prism Analytics, or Accounting Center.
• Technical familiarity with SQL, Python, or Workday WQL/RaaS reporting.
• Prior experience at high-growth technology companies scaling toward IPO readiness.
