What you will do

• Edit final video podcasts from producer rough cuts and transcripts.
• Perform color correction and optimize footage for digital and broadcast platforms.
• Manage audio de-noising and initial mixing using Pro Tools or Audition.
• Set up technical equipment for remote and in-person interviews to ensure high-quality capture.
• Collaborate with the graphics department to develop and order GFX packages for episodes.
• Create and edit short-form video clips for social media distribution.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of video and audio production experience.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Expertise in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, and Descript.
• Strong technical understanding of codecs, containers, and frame rates.
• Proficiency in Pro Tools or Adobe Audition.

Nice to have

• Experience with livestreaming or video switching hardware (TriCaster, VMix).
• Strong interest in news and politics.
• Knowledge of journalistic best practices.
