What you will do

• Partner with investigative teams to develop, shoot, and edit impactful enterprise stories.
• Capture cinematic visuals and build interview environments that enhance narrative depth.
• Manage the full post-production process, including editing, sound design, and color grading.
• Collaborate with reporters, producers, and legal teams to ensure high journalistic standards.
• Identify and implement innovative production techniques to elevate storytelling quality.
• Produce content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience in visual storytelling or documentary filmmaking.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Chicago, IL.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and field production workflows.
• Expertise in cinematography, field lighting, and audio acquisition.
• Must join NABET union if not currently a member.

Nice to have

• FAA Part 107 Drone License and operational experience.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience working in bilingual newsroom environments.
