What you will do
- Develop and lead OpenAI’s brand partnership strategy, identifying people, organizations, platforms, and cultural opportunities.
- Build a pipeline of high-impact partnerships and evaluate opportunities by audience relevance, values alignment, cultural credibility, creative potential, and long-term brand impact.
- Lead key partners end-to-end: strategy, negotiation, development, and execution, serving as the primary marketing lead.
- Shape strategic and creative vision for partnership programs, including campaigns, content, events, experiences, and activations.
- Define partnership narratives and value propositions, and protect brand integrity through clear partner-selection and execution principles.
- Create scalable frameworks for partnership management and define success measures using audience, brand, cultural, and engagement signals.
Requirements
- US-based (remote)
- 12+ years of experience in brand partnerships, cultural marketing, strategic partnerships, integrated marketing, entertainment or sports marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record developing partnerships that strengthened cultural relevance, expanded reach, or built credibility with important audiences.
- Strong cultural fluency and brand judgment; ability to assess opportunities across values alignment, authenticity, creative potential, and long-term impact.
- Experience developing campaigns, content, events, experiences, and activations with external partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
