Salary: $4,463.88–$5,310.28 CAD monthly

What you will do
- Coordinate study visits: schedule and prepare materials, contact patients and families, and support study setup.
- Support ethics documentation by preparing research ethics applications and associated study documents.
- Collect and manage data from multiple sources, including health charts and online databases, and maintain study databases on electronic platforms such as RedCap.
- Assist with sample workflows: prepare sample kits, collect specimens during clinic visits (or coordinate with lab services), and process/store/retrieve samples per SOPs.
- Coordinate shipment of study samples to collaborating labs and maintain records for sample shipments and study expenditures.
- In clinic settings, screen and recruit participants, collect data at study visits, administer questionnaires, and maintain clinic/lab supply restocking.
Requirements
- High school graduation plus some additional training in a related field, and at least two years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary clinical/research environment and communicate effectively with participants and families.
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail orientation, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Post-secondary education in Science or Health.
- Previous medical and/or pediatric experience.
- Experience with databases and proficiency with REDCap; some laboratory experience.
