What you will do

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized SMART self-sufficiency and wellness plans for clients.
• Perform critical screenings for mental health, trafficking, and legal needs.
• Assist clients in navigating NYC healthcare, shelter, and social service systems, including benefit applications.
• Provide referrals and maintain a strong network of community service providers to meet client needs.
• Manage detailed client documentation using the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database.
• Respond to client crises and accompany clients to relevant court or health service appointments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of case management experience with asylum seekers or similar populations required.
• Must be based in the New York City area to perform office and field duties.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in languages spoken by client groups, such as Spanish, French, Russian, Dari, Pashto, Arabic, or Wolof.
