What you will do

• Test patient samples according to standard operating procedures with little to no errors.
• Maintain lab equipment and instruments, recognize malfunctions, and troubleshoot common errors on the lab floor.
• Follow GLP by keeping workspaces clean and organized.
• Recognize, document, and escalate protocol deviations to the lead/supervisor.
• Handle PHI in paper and electronic form and complete required HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training within the first 30 days.
• Communicate with team and other departments and support daily schedules and tasks.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a biological science or similar field.
• 0–2 years of industry-related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and pipetting skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to perform word processing and data management.
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and/or overtime as needed.
• Must be able to discern color visually and pass applicable screening assessment.
