What you will do

• Lead the national M&A Tax function, defining strategy and driving practice growth.
• Advise private equity and corporate clients on tax implications of acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Oversee due diligence processes, identifying and quantifying tax exposures for executive decision-makers.
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
• Drive revenue growth by cultivating client relationships and originating new business opportunities.
• Mentor and develop a team of MD-level professionals and senior staff.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive tax experience with a focus on M&A/transactions.
• Background in transaction tax at a Big 4, national advisory, or boutique firm.
• Proven ability to originate and grow client engagements with a demonstrable book of business.
• Deep relationships with private equity firms and corporate executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA, JD/LLM, or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
