What you will do

• Own ERP (Campfire) and procure-to-pay systems for AP and T&E, including configuration, governance, and ongoing system health.
• Design and maintain AI-powered workflows for transaction coding, close automation, and financial reporting, including audit trail infrastructure.
• Own IT General Controls (ITGCs) across financial systems: user provisioning/deprovisioning, segregation of duties (SOD), change management, and access reviews.
• Build close automation and real-time close monitoring (dashboards/alerts) and accelerate month-end close by removing tooling and process bottlenecks.
• Lead integrations and data pipeline design across Finance systems (including payroll integration with Rippling) to ensure accurate, timely, auditable data flows.
• Partner with VP Controller, external auditors, and cross-functional teams to drive controls readiness (SOX-ready environment, GRC tooling) and scalable Finance operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting technology, or a closely related field in a high-growth/scaling environment.
• Deep ERP expertise, ideally including implementation experience (go-live, integration design, configuration, post-live optimization) with platforms such as NetSuite, Campfire, or Sage Intacct.
• Strong US GAAP foundation and hands-on understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and process redesign (not just automation).
• Proven experience building/owning ITGC and access control frameworks (SOD enforcement, user provisioning, change management, audit-trail documentation).
• Experience working directly with external auditors (Big 4 preferred) on IT controls testing and audit evidence standards.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and data pipeline design; comfort scoping/spec’ing integration work with Engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Campfire or another AI-native ERP platform.
• Experience designing/operating AI-automated finance workflows (e.g., intelligent document processing, transaction coding automation).
• SOX compliance experience (ITGC documentation, RCM design, audit support), ideally pre-IPO or newly public.
• Experience with close management platforms (FloQast, BlackLine) and financial reporting automation tooling.
• Fintech/payments or other regulated financial services experience.

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 USD (Tier 1: NYC/Bay Area); $150,000–$190,000 USD (Tier 3: Salt Lake City)
