Account Manager (Finance)

What you will do

• Manage the cash application team to ensure accurate and timely posting of customer payments.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of unapplied cash, short payments, and payment discrepancies.
• Perform and review reconciliations between bank deposits, ERP data, and the general ledger.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and SOX requirements.
• Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to increase automation and reduce manual work.
• Develop and track KPIs related to cash posting rates, aging, and team productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• 6–8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or Finance Operations.
• 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Proficiency with Oracle and experience with Workday or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of AR, Billing, Collections, and Treasury in a multi-currency environment.
• Analytical mindset with experience in AI tools orientation and AR automation.
