What you will do

• Support risk assessments and identify control gaps across key financial processes.
• Design and update preventive and detective controls aligned with COSO and ICFR.
• Build and maintain process documentation, narratives, and flow diagrams.
• Coordinate control execution, monitor performance, and support remediation efforts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed controls into workflows and new initiatives.
• Prepare audit evidence and coordinate audit requests and findings.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6+ years experience in internal controls, SOX/ICFR, internal audit, or financial process improvement.
• Strong understanding of ICFR, COSO framework, and control design/testing methodologies.
• Experience with ERP or sub-ledger systems (Workday, Netsuite, Oracle) and audit tools (AuditBoard, Workiva) is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
