Director of Finance (Medical Devices) (FP&A/Operational Finance): Leading financial strategy, planning, performance management, and decision support for a $350M global Advanced Surgery medical device business unit with an accent on business partnership, investment planning, and profitable growth. Focus on building annual operating plans and long-range forecasts, governing SOX and internal controls, and developing finance talent in a matrixed public-company environment.

hirify.global develops engineered components and subsystems for mission-critical healthcare and advanced manufacturing applications, including minimally invasive surgery, robotics, and 3D metal printing.

What you will do

Lead financial strategy and business partnership for the $350M Advanced Surgery medical device business unit.
Translate business-unit strategy into financial plans, investment cases, performance targets, and strategic trade-offs.
Lead annual operating plans, long-range strategic plans, and quarterly forecasts with the VP of Finance.
Drive performance against revenue, margin, and cost commitments while highlighting business risks and opportunities.
Support governance, AAP, SOX, internal control, reporting, and corporate finance requirements.
Lead and develop finance talent across the business unit.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
Experience supporting a global business unit in a public-company environment.
Strong experience in FP&A, business partnership, and operational finance.
Experience working in matrixed, cross-cultural organizations.
Fluent English required; German proficiency is preferred but not required.

Nice to have

MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.
Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated manufacturing.
Experience supporting businesses with €250–500M in revenue.
Exposure to M&A, integrations, or carve-outs.
Experience working closely with European-based leadership teams.
