Finance Business Partner (Pharma)

Location: Plainsboro, New Jersey, United States. The role requires 0–10% overnight travel; no international travel is expected.

Base compensation: $83,400–$150,200 per year, plus eligibility for a company performance bonus and potential long-term incentive compensation or company vehicle depending on the position level and other company factors.

What you will do

• Manage Anchor Budget, Rolling Estimates, and other financial planning processes.
• Collect and analyze financial data, identify performance trends and variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present financial reports to local and global management.
• Partner with commercial functions and strategic support teams to provide financial guidance and drive value creation.
• Perform project controlling and monitor budget and financial compliance.
• Develop solutions for complex financial issues with minimal guidance while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Strong subject matter knowledge in financial planning and analysis.
• Experience using data, business understanding, and interpersonal skills to interact with local and global management.
• Ability to work independently, handle complex tasks with limited defined procedures, and ensure financial compliance.
