Director of Finance

Location: Berlin, on-site five days per week

Salary: €120,000–€150,000 per year; total compensation up to €200,000 including equity

What you will do

• Lead company-wide corporate finance strategy and connect financial analysis with business priorities.
• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, scenario plans, and benchmarking frameworks.
• Lead equity and debt financing workstreams, including valuation analyses and investor materials.
• Execute M&A processes from opportunity evaluation and due diligence through valuation and recommendations.
• Establish scalable processes for forecasting, transaction diligence, and strategic evaluation.
• Personally build models and presentation decks while driving complex strategic workstreams.

Requirements

• Strong experience across corporate finance, FP&A, capital markets, valuation, and M&A.
• Background in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to independently build robust financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses from scratch.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to turn financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts and transaction structures to executives, board members, and investors.
• High ownership, pragmatism, and willingness to work hands-on in the details.
