What you will do

• Lead M&A and strategic finance projects from initial assessment through to execution support.
• Prepare analysis and materials for conversations with equity and debt investors to build credible financial narratives.
• Develop high-quality financial models, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
• Create structured and repeatable processes for diligence and transaction execution.
• Partner with leadership to connect financial analysis to broader company priorities and strategic growth.
• Operate as a hands-on owner, building materials and pushing complex workstreams forward independently.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in M&A, corporate finance, transaction execution, and valuation.
• Professional experience in private equity, investment banking, or a similar high-performance finance environment.
• Proven ability to build robust financial models and pressure-test assumptions independently.
• Strong commercial judgment to connect financial data to business reality.
• Must be based in Berlin and available for full-time on-site work (5 days/week).
• Adaptability and ownership mindset suitable for a fast-paced startup environment.
