Senior Localization Engineer (Applied AI)

What you will do

• Lead the transition from automated to AI-led localization workflows, initially focusing on product UI releases across multiple languages.
• Extend AI-led pipeline principles to online documentation, marketing content, and other areas of the content ecosystem.
• Define technical standards, system hygiene practices, engineering documentation, and governance for localization infrastructure.
• Build AI-powered operational reporting and improve productivity through automation.
• Own key technical initiatives while coordinating contracted and distributed engineering partners.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, ideally Claude/Anthropic, and agentic steps into production engineering workflows.
• Experience designing event-driven, API-first translation infrastructure connected to repositories, CMS platforms, databases, translation engines, and release events.
• Strong internationalization and localization engineering knowledge, including string externalization, localization frameworks, file formats, and encoding conventions.
• Understanding of Translation Management Systems, Translation Memory, Machine Translation, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, and Regex, with the ability to design solutions that scale across content types and delivery channels.
• Ability to communicate across engineering and non-engineering groups and collaborate with distributed teams across multiple geographies.
