AI Engineer - Data

Location: On-site in Berlin or London, 5 days a week in the office. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to Berlin or London.

What you will do

• Build the next generation of an agentic reward design system that analyzes games, generates tailored offers, and evaluates them before launch.
• Turn ambiguous AI opportunities across payer structures, user acquisition, and other data verticals into working systems.
• Design and ship agents, LLM pipelines, retrieval systems, and evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate directly with Staff Data Scientists, the CTO, and company leadership.
• Set the engineering patterns, tooling, and standards for AI development across the data team.

Requirements

• Python is required.
• Experience with modern LLM APIs, open models, agentic frameworks, and orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Practical experience with RAG, vector search, evaluation frameworks, eval-driven development, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
• Experience shipping a genuinely agentic AI system, LLM pipeline, or real RAG system that was used in practice.
• Strong software engineering or applied machine learning foundations.
• Experience with BigQuery, SQL, large behavioral datasets, cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience in adtech, marketplaces, recommendations or ranking, or high-scale consumer products.
