What you will do

• Partner with Product, Sales, and Credit teams to influence investment decisions and go-to-market execution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team while maintaining a hands-on approach to complex analyses.
• Own merchant growth forecasting and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Drive top-line planning processes, including target setting and performance tracking for senior leadership.
• Build and scale automated dashboards and analytical frameworks to improve organizational visibility.
• Synthesize complex financial data into clear narratives to align cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 10+ years of experience in analytical roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, or consulting.
• Proven people management experience with a player-coach mindset.
• Expertise in financial modeling and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Sigma.
• Strong business judgment and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with lending or buy now pay later business models.
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools like Cursor or Claude Code for analytical workflows.
