What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of four engineers in Madrid, fostering a culture of ownership and quality.
• Guide the evolution of Code Coverage into an AI-powered system using production data and LLMs to identify coverage gaps.
• Partner with product management and customers to define and evolve the product roadmap.
• Remain hands-on by contributing to architecture, design decisions, and participating in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience leading an engineering team as a tech lead or manager with a track record of developing engineers.
• Hands-on experience with Java or Go and working on large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong interest in AI, agentic engineering, and the use of LLMs in developer workflows.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive execution via rapid iteration.
• Must be based in Madrid, Spain
