Localization Lead, Engineering & Automation (AI)

hirify.global is building a Language Technology & Workflow Automation team to improve the productivity, quality, scalability, and auditability of its Professional Translation business.

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the roadmap for Professional Translation workflow automation and internal tooling.
• Deliver automation across intake, quoting, file analysis, project setup, assignment, vendor workflows, QA tracking, reporting, and production handoffs.
• Improve translation-memory leverage, fuzzy matching, terminology consistency, and reuse for high-repetition financial, legal, and securities content.
• Improve data flows and integrations across Plunet, Phrase, HubSpot, Jira, ATAI, finance, QA ticketing, and related systems.
• Establish and manage a small agile team focused on localization engineering, automation, linguistic data, analytics, and workflow tooling.
• Define delivery standards, adoption practices, success metrics, and potential productization opportunities for hirify.global AI clients.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with automation, workflow orchestration, internal tooling, or data engineering, including scripting, APIs, system integration, and reliable operational workflows.
• Direct experience with language technology, CAT/TMS environments, machine translation, language AI platforms, or technical work within an LSP.
• Strong understanding of translation-memory leverage, fuzzy matching, terminology management, and professional translation workflows.
• Practical experience designing or operating integrations, API-based data flows, monitoring, and integration patterns.
• Experience leading or managing technical or cross-functional teams and delivering solutions adopted by operational users.
• Ability to work with translation operations and balance quick wins with deeper structural improvements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with n8n, Apache Airflow, MT, LLM-based translation, RAG, quality estimation, adaptive MT, or localization engineering.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, dashboards, data pipelines, NLP, or language technology product development.
• Background in regulated legal, financial, securities, or government environments.
• Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment and bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
