What you will do

• Analyze credit opportunities and develop investment theses based on quantitative and qualitative diligence.
• Construct cash flow and valuation models to evaluate financial performance.
• Produce market commentary on single-name credit opportunities for internal and external audiences.
• Liaise with clients, investors, and internal sub-groups to achieve commercial outcomes.
• Present investment theses and risk analyses to senior leadership.
• Assist in the management of risk across corporate bonds, credit derivatives, and leveraged loans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in asset management, investment banking, trading, or research.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in natural resources sectors (metals, mining, chemicals, power, utilities, and energy).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in New York, NY.

• Prior experience in credit analysis.
