Financial Analyst (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite role

Salary: $87,720–$162,840 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Communicate financial performance, plans, and targets across the operating company.
• Investigate monthly variances against forecasts, plans, prior periods, and prior years.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Partner with accounting, finance, operations, supply chain, program management, pricing, and contracts teams on forecasts and budgets.
• Communicate data-driven recommendations and proactively identify business risks and opportunities.
• Apply the hirify.global Business System to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience.
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills; proficiency in SQL and Power BI or strong systems aptitude.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, with accountability for deadlines and deliverables.
• U.S. citizenship or another qualifying U.S. Person status is required for ITAR-related duties, unless the necessary U.S. government export authorizations are obtained.

Nice to have

• Government accounting and GAAP knowledge.
• Aerospace and defense experience.
• Manufacturing or factory operations background.
